KING & QUEEN OF THE HILL
A FAST ACTION, HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT SPORT
Based on an ancient TRIBAL CONTEST to determine the
village's
strongest boys and healthiest girls.
Recreated by Vince Fodera, father of three Cherokee sons.
TRIBAL CASINOS CAN OFFER A NEW ATTRACTION:
KING & QUEEN of the HILL as a SPECTATOR PAYING SPORT.
KING & QUEEN of the HILL as a GAMBLING PARI-MUTEL SPORT.
KING & QUEEN of the HILL is a SPORT OF FEMALES and MALES...
for the STRONG OF BODY and the BRAVE OF HEART.
KING & QUEEN of the HILL is the sport through which many young people can earn an income enjoying their "few minutes" of RECOGNITION and GLORY.
423 INDIAN CASINOS THROUGHOUT AMERICA CAN HAVE THEIR OWN TEAMS PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER TO GENERATE INTERTRIBAL COMPETITIVE EXCITEMENT. |
What is unique about KING & QUEEN of the HILL?
Spectators can see DYNAMIC WOMEN in action,
a contrast to most sports, which are male dominated.
THE ACTION:
EIGHT BEAUTIFUL WOMEN in sport outfits, ready for battle.
EIGHT MUSCULAR MEN in sport outfits, ready for battle.
The girls fight to become QUEEN of the HILL.
The guys fight to become KING of the HILL.
On stage there is a fabricated "hill" which is foam-padded.
There are 'betting window' ticket booths in the arena.
The tournament begins with SIXTEEN awesome contestants coming out and parading before the spectators:
Each athlete is introduced by 'stage name' and color of sash.
(tournaments can also feature SIXTEEN women and SIXTEEN men)
Customers determine the strength of each contestant and make their picks for winners on the betting tickets, then take their tickets to the betting windows and make wagers.
Announcer introduces the first pair to fight and lets the fight begin to capture the "TOP OF THE HILL".
The contestants then wrestle, fight, push, pull, grab to knock the other off the top...
There are three (2 minute) rounds for each contest.
Whoever knocks the opponent off for three seconds is the winner.
Ties are settled by a "sudden-death" play off.
At end of rounds customers take their 'computer generated bet tickets' to the window to collect their winnings.
